A short biography
Weon-Gyu Lee works at KIST as a postdoc since May 2020. His main topic is heterojunction. He researches the construction of heterojunction, and also he investigates the expectation of properties of the surface or heterojunction by machine learning from the data given by density functional theory. Before then, he had been at SKKU as a postdoc from 2018, researching one-dimensional van der Waals materials with density functional theory. He obtained a Ph.D. in chemistry by studying the quantum mechanics of photosynthetic systems with a subsystem-bath model in POSTECH.
