A short biography
Dr. Sooyeon Kim joined KIST as a post-doc researcher in September 2021. She received her B.S. and M.S. in Chemistry at Seoul National University, and got her Ph.D. in Earth and Environmental Sciences at the University of Michigan. She is interested in developing catalysts for the synthesis of NH3 and H2O2 and also for hydrogen production using density functional theory (DFT) and classical MD (molecular dynamics) simulations.
