A short biography
Hong Woo Lee has joined KIST as Intern and student researcher since 2017. He received his B.S. and M.S. degree in Dept. of Organic Material Science and Engineering from Pusan National University (PNU, Busan), and Ph.D. in Dept. of Chemical and Biological Engineering from Korea University (KU, Seoul). He has developed metal nano-catalysts (for H2O2, NH3 synthesis, etc.), and secondary batteries (LIBs or SIBs) by using the DFT (density functional theory), and ReaxFF-MD (reactive force field molecular dynamics simulations). In particular, he can develop the ReaxFF parameters to describe many kinds of reactive mechanisms.
