A short biography
Dr. Jisoo Nam joined KIST as a post-doc researcher in March 2026. She received her B.S. in Energy Conversion & Storage from Ulsan National Institute of Science and Technology (UNIST) and her M.S. and Ph.D. in Energy Engineering from UNIST. During her doctoral studies, she focused on researching the physical properties of magnetic and multiferroic materials using Density Functional Theory (DFT). At KIST, her research interests have shifted toward solid-state electrolytes, employing Machine Learning Potentials (MLP), mainly to enhance the performance of electrolytes in Solid Oxide Fuel Cells (SOFC).
