A short biography
Gihyeon Jeon joined KIST as a postdoctoral researcher in 2025. He received his B.S. in Physics from Kyungpook National University, and his M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Mathematics from Kyungpook National University. He is interested in the mathematical theory of computerized tomography (CT) and photoacoustic tomography (PAT), as well as AI-driven approaches for (blind) inverse problems. As a member of CSRC, he focuses on developing advanced AI techniques with generative models to solve problems in materials science.
