A short biography
Dr. Seok-Ho Lee is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Korea Institute of Science and Technology (KIST), where he joined in September 2025. He received his Bachelor of Science in Biotechnology and completed both his M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in the Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering at Korea University.
His research centers on the theoretical investigation of catalytic systems using Density Functional Theory (DFT) and on the automation of integrated computational–experimental workflows. His work aims to combine Artificial Intelligence (AI)–driven models with autonomous platforms to accelerate the discovery of high-performance catalytic materials.
