A short biography
Dr. Haleem Ud Din has joined KIST as a postdoctoral researcher since 2022. He received his M.Sc degree in Physics from University of Peshawar, M.Phil and Ph.D degrees in Physics from Hazara University. His research interest is concerned with first principles study of bulk/low dimensional materials (using DFT, GW and BSE schemes) for potential applications in (opto)electronics, spintronic devices and photocatalysis. While at KIST, he is very much interested in theoretical understanding of novel materials for applied aspects in solar cell, energy storage and gas sensor device applications and establishing AI techniques for in materials science.
