A short biography
Dr. Dongyup Shin joined KIST as a post-doc researcher in September 2022.
He received his B.S. in Dept. of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering and got his M.S. in EEWS, and got his Ph.D. in Dept. of Chemistry from Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST).
His research interest is theoretical catalyst design via density functional theory (DFT) and MD (molecular dynamics) simulations.
More specifically, he is interested in electrochemical catalyst design for carbon dioxide (CO2) reduction reaction, oxygen (O2) reduction reaction, etc.
